5. Milk 

Milk contains lactic acid similar to yogurt which helps remove dead skin cells, reduce pigmentation, heal dry skin, hydrate your skin, heal acne and relieve sunburn. You could add milk to your bathtub for a full body benefit or you can apply it to your face only.

To make a basic milk face mask, just grab a cotton ball or a clean towel and dab the raw milk onto your face. Let it sit for 15-30 minutes and rinse off with cool water

6. Aloe Vera 

Aloe Vera can be used as a skin gel, moisturizer, skin brightener, natural cleanser and as an everyday scrub. It is used as a natural remedy to treat flaky skin, cracked skin, bruises, sunburns and so many other skin problems.

Aloe Vera with cucumber

Add a few slices of cucumber to few spoons of Aloe Vera gel, add half a lemon juice and blend well, apply this mixture onto your skin or face as a mask, leave on for 20-30 minutes before rinsing off with warm or cool water.

7. Salt 

Sometimes your skin may feel dry or rough due to dead skin cells, using a salt scrub can help you remove those dead and flaky skin tissues. Simply apply some salt to your skin or face, rub it in as you would a normal face scrub. Wash off with cool water.

Another easy method is by rubbing the salt all over your body before taking a shower, this will help exfoliate your skin. Drawing a salt bath is also very helpful.

8. Oatmeal 

Almost every skin lotion contains oatmeal, it is extremely powerful when it comes to removing dead and dry skin. To use this remedy, cook a pot of oatmeal like you normally would without sugar and milk, when done, let it cool completely and apply it to your skin. Leave it on for 45-50 minutes before taking a warm bath.

9. Avocado 

Avocado oil contains a variety of vitamins including Vitamin A, E, and D all of which are known to improve skin health. Avocado oil is a great home remedy for moisturizing and hydrating the skin. Combine avocado, honey, and sugar in equal measurements and apply it to your skin or face, leave on for up to an hour and wash with cool water.

10. Water 

Water is life, drinking enough water every day will not only promote healthy skin, it will increase your chances of warding off life-threatening illnesses. Not drinking enough water will cause dehydration which is one of the main causes of dry skin. Drink up to 8 glasses of water per day for a younger and healthier skin.
