Indigo Poolside Sweater
Supplies
- Sweater
- All-Purpose Liquid Dye
- 4 Gallon Pot
- Liquid Detergent
- Plastic Table Cover
- Plastic Wrap
- Rubber Bands
Instructions
- Gather supplies and cover work area with plastic table cover.
- Prepare a dye bath by mixing half a bottle of Navy Blue with 3 gallons of piping hot water (140ºF).
- Bundle up your sweater and secure it with rubber bands.
4 Drop into the dye bath and let sit for 20 minutes.
5 / Remove from the dyebath and submerge in a new bath of ColorStay Dye Fixative,which helps the fabric retain brighter color for longer.
6 / After 20 minutes, remove and rinse with cold water. When the water runs clear, add some detergent and rinse. Then, throw your dyed item into the washing machine for a quick cycle. Hang to dry.

SWEATSHIRT REFASHION KNOCK OFF – EASY!
Things you need.
- Sweatshirt
- Scissors
- Ribbon
- Needle and thread
- Small safety pin
Fold your sweatshirt in half and run over the crease with your hand
or you could Iron it to make a line.
Open your shirt back up and place your shirt front side down and cut up the back
all the way up your creased line
*just cut the back part of your sweater.
Over lap the two top corners and hand stitch them together.
Now Pin it to your shirt, this way you can take it off when you want to wash it,
or you could change to different colored bows.
Or you could add other fun things like Pom Poms.
